Briquette Presses
At present there are two main high-pressure technologies: ram or piston press and screw extrusion machines, which are used for briquetting. While the briquettes produced by a piston press are completely solid, screw press briquettes on the other hand have a concentric hole, which gives better combustion characteristics due to a larger specific area. The screw press briquettes are also homogeneous and do not disintegrate easily. Having a high combustion rate, these can substitute for coal in most applications and in boilers. Also, only screw press briquettes can be carbonized.
We market both kinds, as the screw extrusion model is not suitable for highly flammable material such as plastics and paper, for example.
We are distributor for a range of very affordable and sturdy equipment – from crusher, driers, presses to packaging. The diameter of the briquettes are 50-55 mm and you can adjust the lenght between 100-300 mm. The maximum moisture content of feedstock should be 10% or less and the maximum particle size is 10 mm. The water content of the end product is then 6-8%
Charcoal from sawdust and other biomass
We can provide you with equipments that crush the raw materials into granules within 5 mm, dry them to make the moisture content within 12%, put them into the bar fuel - forming machine and mould them under high temperature and high pressure (no additive) and also pack the briquettes.
Briquettes from charcoal or coal dust
Also, we have equipment that can produce briquettes from charcoal or coal dust in different sizes from 3 to 15 tonnes per hour.
